January 24, 2013 by 43andfatfree and RobertRoyston.net

So I just started this blog as a means of helping myself to stay on track and maybe help others along the way! I have always struggled a little with my weight, and at times I have been what I call Heavy!!! But no more! April 17th of this year I turn 43 and I want to be in the best shape of my life. I have already lost 30lbs since April of 2012, but its not just about weight loss its about Shape, adding Muscle, and being in great health! In this blog I also plan on telling you how I have done it and some of the things I have done in the past that either didn’t work or kinda worked and maybe how I slipped up and gained weight back. Hope you all enjoy the journey with me! – RoRo

This is great! Maybe you can help keep me motivated. I lost 28 pounds about 2.5 years ago and some of it has crept back on. I need to stay motivated and on track!

So awesome! I was blown away by how good you were looking that weekend in Ancaster. I’m on a similar journey – lost 24 pounds since May, gained muscle and lost fat, feeling great:) It was the photos from J+J at Swingdiego that made me get my act together, when did I grow that butt-and-gut???

  5. Looking good! I’ve recently started changing my diet in a major way, to be healthier and get sick less often. And have energy to dance!!! My next project will be to get some muscle/strength onto my scrawny body. If you have any tips for getting a stronger core and legs for dancing, please share!!!

I have also struggled with my weight all of my life. Now I have type II diabetes and high blood pressure. Both of which I take medication for. I haven’t really been very serious about my health even with these diagnoses, but with this blog I believe I can get inspired/motivated to be more committed to improving my health. I love dancing and I want to be able to do it for as long as I can. You are an inspiration RoRo ❤
