Kale Pesto:
Kale
Almonds
Garlic
Parmesan cheese
Olive oil
Put in a blender and salt and pepper to taste. I put over Whole Wheat pasta with Mushrooms
Banana Pancakes
2 ripe bananas
2 tblsp Almond Butter
2 eggs
1 scoop BarnDads DX fiber
mash in a bowl to form a batter
Use Non-stick spray or coconut oil in hot pan, when bubbles start to pop FLIP!
Make them small, they must fit on your spatula for the flip, as they don’t stay together all that great on first flip LOL took me a few tries to not destroy the pancake hahaha Then I put a lil, and I mean a lil, Maple syrup on them.
Finally got a chance this past weekend to make the Kale Pesto recipe you mentioned – yummy. I’ve been working into my lunches with chicken to replace my vegetable soup and chili that I was eating over winter. Can’t do the pasta yet – too many carbs for what I’ve doing. But, I think this Kale pesto will work out as I find different things to pair with it for lunch. Thanks for the food tip!!!
